Baku, June 3 (AZERTAC). Swedish parliament`s recognition of so-called “Armenian genocide” is historical mistake, member of Swedish parliament Desiree Pethrus said at a meeting with representatives of the Congress of Swedish Azerbaijanis.
The Swedish MP was briefed on Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict and was given materials featuring Azerbaijani realities.
The Azeri representatives also informed the Swedish MP about UN Security Council`s four resolutions on unconditional withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
The parties also discussed the facts about terrorist acts and genocides against Azerbaijanis committed by Armenia in Khojaly and other occupied territories.
In the meeting, Pethrus was presented books on Karabakh and Azerbaijan by world historians.
