TAJIK PRESIDENT VISITED “CASPIAN FISH CO.” IN BAKU
On August 13, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited the “Caspian Fish Co.” of Azerbaijan. The distinguished guest has familiarized himself with separate industrial shops. He was informed that the Company makes high-quality, ecologically pure production of wide assortment.
The enterprise, started to function in 2001 with the blessings of national leader Heydar Aliyev, is capable to provide the population of region with high-quality fish production. From raw material, which gives the Caspian Sea, and also imported from Russia, Norway, the countries Atlantic and Pacific Ocean, the Company makes qualitative production. The Company is equipped with the modern equipment that provides high quality of the production. 750 of the Company’s personnel work in the sea. The enterprise, capable to process daily up to 300 tons of fish, has no analogue in the Caspian region. The industrial complex consists of shops on processing fish and caviar, production of fish flour and fish oil. The enterprise produces production of 80 nominations to send both on home market and abroad. The Tajik President was informed that $56 million have been invested in the Company. President Emomali Rahmon also has familiarized with the black caviar production shop. It was noted, that in this year, Azerbaijan’s quota of caviar is 6 660 kg. During the spring season, 50 percent of the quota has been realized. It has been underlined, that the caviar made here is exported to all the countries of the world.
The Corporation has a specialized scientific center on links with the state enterprises of Azerbaijan. Its main purpose consists in carrying out of monitoring of fishing industry and control of observance of the ecological requirements. The Company plans restoration of the earlier existed fisheries and creation of new ones.
