Tatarstan keen to boost ties with Azerbaijan
Baku, December 4 (AZERTAC). “Tatarstan is keen to expand bilateral bonds with Azerbaijan,” Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov said in a meeting with Azerbaijani Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev in Baku on Tuesday.
Prior to the meeting, the Tatarstan delegation viewed an exhibition reflecting the Azerbaijan`s socio-economic development at the Baku Business Center.
Minister Shahin Mustafayev highlighted the Azerbaijan`s economy and projects implemented in the country.
The Minister noted Azerbaijan attaches great importance to expanding bilateral ties with the Russian Federation, as well as with the Republic of Tatarstan.
Mustafayev stressed the importance of the presidents` reciprocal visits in terms of development of the cooperation.
The Azerbaijani Minister noted there were ample opportunities to expand the Azerbaijan-Tatarstan cooperation in a variety of economic fields.
Ravil Zaripov gave information on the Tatarstan`s economy.
He stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various spheres of the economy.
