Tatarstan to host KazanSummit
Baku, August 13 (AZERTAC). KazanSummit will be held at the Main International Center in the Russian Federation`s Tatarstan Republic, on October 3-4.
Azerbaijani businessmen will also attend the summit.
KazanSummit is the premier international economic summit of the Russian Federation and member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The summit has been established in 2009 and held under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2010. Beginning in 2012, KazanSummit is also held with the support of the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
KazanSummit’s mission is improving and deepening economic and business relationships of the Russian Federation and OIC countries. This is achieved through facilitating dialogue on trends in business, investment, and trade in Russia and OIC countries.
KazanSummit is organized by the IBFD Foundation, a non-for-profit organization founded in 2009 to encourage the development of bilateral economic and business relationships between Russia and OIC member countries. Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, a special executive body of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan designed to carry out investment promotion and facilitation, is the co-organizer of the summit, which is held under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and with the support of the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
