Turkish media continues to focus on WUF13 in Baku

The 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), hosted in Baku, is drawing strong attention from Turkish news agencies, television broadcasters, print media, and news websites.
Several television channels from Türkiye broadcast the opening ceremony of WUF13 live on May 18, reaching a large audience and highlighting the importance of the forum attended by President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
The coverage also featured excerpts from President Ilham Aliyev’s remarks.
Particular attention was given to President Ilham Aliyev’s remarks on Azerbaijan’s rapid progress in urban development, the reconstruction of Garabagh and East Zangezur, and the “Great Return” program.
Turkish media also widely covered the visit of the delegation led by Murat Kurum, Türkiye’s Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
Coverage also included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on technical cooperation in energy efficiency in buildings between Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy and Türkiye’s Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
