USA HOSTED JAZZ FESTIVAL IN MEMORY OF VAGIF MUSTAFAZADE
The Day of Azerbaijani-American Friendship was held in Brookline on November 27. The Azerbaijani Society in US and Jewish Community of Azerbaijan have jointly carried out Jazz Festival in memory of popular Azerbaijani jazzmen Vagif Mustafazade. The event was held in Baku Palace of Brookline.
Vagif Mustafazade’s compositions were performed by jazz groups of King Bi, Nikolay Levinovski, Ruslan Agabalayev, Vladimir Tkach, Igor’ Lutsev.
Novruz Mammadov and Tereza Ilizarova have performed Azerbaijan’s folk songs.
American audience was deeply impressed by Azerbaijan music.
