Young Azerbaijani scientists participating in 13th International Archaeological Field School in Tatarstan

Young Azerbaijain researchers are participating in 13th International Archaeological Field School program at the Bolgar State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve in the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation.
This year’s school, dedicated to digital technologies in archaeology such as geoinformation systems, 3D modeling, geophysics, and remote sensing, will bring together 75 participants from 24 regions of Russia — bachelor’s and master’s students, young researchers — along with representatives from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Belarus, and India, who over two weeks will train in four sections and present the results of their research at the final conference.
Since 2022, the school runs in two stages, starting in Bulgaria and continuing at research centers across the participating countries.
The final stage of the program will wrap up on August 23 with the International Youth Scientific and Practical Conference “Interdisciplinary research in archeology: achievements and challenges,” where participants will present reports on the results of their research.
