Under the Order of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov has been awarded the Order of Glory of Kazakh Republic for his services and public activities in ensuring state policy, as well as his significant contribution to the social, economic and cultural development of the country, and the strengthening of friendship and cooperation among the nations.
The order was presented to Ogtay Asadov as a delegation led by Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin visited Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis.
The meeting focused on the current state of and prospects for developing the Azerbaijani-Kazakh cooperation.
Chairman of Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov hailed the high-level bilateral relations between the two countries, describing them as strategic. He pointed to good potential for further development of the Azerbaijani-Kazakh relations.
Hailing the developing cooperation, particularly inter-parliamentary ties between the two countries, Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin expressed his confidence that the visit will make significant contribution to further strengthening of bilateral relations.
