2ND FORUM OF AZERBAIJANI STUDENTS STUDYING IN EUROPE COMMENCES
The 2nd Forum of Azerbaijani students studying in Europe started Monday in the Belgian capital, Brussels, State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis leaving in foreign countries said.
The event gathered over hundred Azerbaijani students from twenty countries, including Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov, heads of Azerbaijan’s permanent delegations to the European Union and Council of Europe Emin Eyyubov and Arif Mammadov, EU’s special representative in the South Caucasus Peter Semneby as well as representatives of youth organizations.
Speaking at the event, Peter Semneby praised the activity of Azerbaijani students studying in Europe.
He described EU-Azerbaijan relations as rapidly developing.
Minister Azad Rahimov stressed youth play a role of a bridge between Azerbaijan and Europe.
The three-day forum will also include several meetings and conferences at the European Union and NATO.
