54 countries to attend UN FAO Regional Conference in Tajikistan

The 35th Session of the Regional Conference of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for Europe and Central Asia will be held for the first time in Central Asia, in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, Khovar reported.
According to the Agriculture Ministry, it will bring together more than 550 participants, including delegates from 54 FAO member states, observer countries, and 20 international and regional organizations.
FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu, ministers, deputy ministers, ambassadors, and heads of international and regional organizations are also expected to take part in the session.
Registration for the event closed on May 4 via the official conference website.
Tajikistan’s Agriculture and Foreign Affairs Ministries sent invitations to 54 member states, five observer states, and 46 international organizations.
