90th anniversary of Azerbaijani national leader marked in Georgia

Marneuli, May 10 (AZERTAC). A conference marking the 90th jubilee of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev has been held in Marneuli, Georgia.

Titled “Heydar Aliyev and Georgia-Azerbaijan relations”, the conference brought together professors of leading Georgian universities, as well as Azerbaijani and Georgian scientists.

Speakers at the conference praised national leader Heydar Aliyev`s role in developing the Azerbaijan-Georgia relations, as well as his attention to education and science.

Associate Professor at Sokhumi University Guram Markhulia called Heydar Aliyev “the great son of the entire Caucasus”.

Following the conference its participants laid a wreath at a bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev in Tbilisi.
