ALTERNATIVE AND RENEWABLE ENERGY SOLUTIONS TO BE INTRODUCED IN AZERBAIJAN
Baku, November 16 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today signed an executive order on additional measures to introducing alternative and renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan in order to enhance national energy security.
Under the order, the Ministry of Industry and Energy and Azerenergy joint-stock company will receive a million manats each from the Reserve Fund of the President to explore the opportunities for generation of wind, solar, geothermal, biomass energy and study of wind energy resources, energy potential of mountain rivers and construction of small electric power stations.
