AMBASSADOR OF POLAND TO AZERBAIJAN VISITS NAKHCHIVAN
Within the framework of visit, the ambassador has met chairman of Supreme Majlis of the Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov, the chief executive of the city of Nakhchivan Vugar Safarov and chief of the Nakhchivan Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Republic Ali Alizade. Diplomats have also visited the Ordubad region and met the residents.
Special interest in visitors has aroused acquaintance with Ashabi-Kaf, being sacred place of worship, and a number of historical monuments.
Mr. Kraevski has held press conference for media representatives. Answering numerous questions of journalists, the Ambassador told between Poland and Azerbaijan there are close friendly relations which every year widen.
Highly having estimated the November 6 parliamentary elections conducted in democratic and quiet conditions, the Ambassador answered as well the questions connected to the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He, particularly, has told: “During the visit, I once again became the witness of that from this conflict suffer both Azerbaijan and Armenia. The Polish government which I represent, also considers, that this conflict can be eliminated only in peace way. I believe that in the near future the problem will find positive solution, he stressed.
