Huseyn Hagverdi is one of those sculptors, who dedicated the most part of his creative activity to the marvel material-stone. The artist can be called “stone sculptor” due to the fact, he is a connoisseur of natural and quality stone. As if, the master discloses new secrets of the stone every time, he enters into a dialogue with this material. As Huseyn says, life itself is a source of inspiration. The thoughts about life make the author adjoin an idea about his paradoxes. Thus, a serias of works in the style of graphics and sculpture are manifested. Herein the author combines two different subjects, he is trying to create any new architectonic organism. An architecture is similar to a person or an architectonic person, under the pressure of everyday rhythm of big megapolis and the problem of person loneliness-all these facts are deeply comprehended by the author. As if, the artist comprehended human nature, he understood that the atmosphere of this big city is unfamiliar for him. Distancing process of person from nature began many centuries ago. Paradox is that a person by assimilating various technologies, a person gradually separates from natural environment eventually and as a result, a person continues to think out about loneliness dilemma, by remaining in captivity of his ambitious ideas.
Huseyn doesn’t attach importance to realities of everyday life, he prefers the inner world reality of a person, as well as Huseyn shows interest in significance of life process. He creates various sculptures using sharp circles and tough silhouette, thus, he realizes his protest against forcibly perceived by a person, unacceptable, general, fake art. Rebelliousness is one of distinctive features of the artist’s character which is identified in this way, and the secret of charismatic personality is formed around his art image. By creating images the author transfers his mood and concerns to us. As if they arise in front of us as self-portraits of the artist`s spirit. The sculptor by using nature of the stone, as if by gentle and easy strikes he destroys nature integrity and mentally gives an opportunity for a viewer to develop the main idea. Being in interactive connections with the created object, a viewer has an opportunity to take a part in hidden creative process, we become witnesses of one unique moment which unites the author and a viewer.
