ATAHOLDING DELEGATION PARTICIPATES AT THE SECOND INTERNATIONAL CASPIAN BANKING AND FINANCE SUMMIT
Ataholding Group of Companies delegation has participated at the second International Caspian Banking and Finance summit. The summit was attended by official bodies and business circles of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine and Belarus and representatives of international organizations, AzerTAj correspondent was told at the Ataholding press-service. The summit focused on the investment perspectives and financial sector development in the Caspian region, development of Turkey and Caspian basin countries and corporate bank markets, corporate banking and importance of finance for international investors and regional privatization programs etc.
Ataholding supervisory board chairman Ahmet Erentok delivered a report “Macroeconomic Stability and Financial Market in Azerbaijan” at the summit. Head of Ataholding Group of Companies reported on the economic prospects of Azerbaijan. GDP will increase 3-fold by 2008 and GDP per capita is expected to rise from $800 to $2200-2300, A. Erenkok said.
