AZAL, Italian company discuss cooperation in field of civil aviation of Azerbaijan

AZAL President Jahangir Asgarov has met with Senior Vice President of the Italian company “Leonardo” Marco Buratti to discuss prospects for cooperation in civil aviation.
The parties at the meeting touched on the issues of cooperation in the field of aircraft maintenance and repair, as well as the introduction of promising and modern innovative technologies in the field of air navigation.
As a result of the negotiations, projects for the development of the infrastructure of the air navigation system of Azerbaijan were agreed.
Also during the event, an exchange of views was held on the development of relations between companies in various areas in the civil aviation of Azerbaijan, and a wide potential for productive cooperation with the Italian aviation industry was noted.
