AZERBAIJAN AMBASSADOR TO KYRGYZSTAN PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO PRESIDENT KURMANBEK BAKIYEV
Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Arif Agayev presented his credentials to the country`s President Kurmanbek Bakiyev.
The Kyrgyz President congratulated Arif Agayev on his new appointment.
Bakiyev expressed hope that opening of Azerbaijan`s embassy in Bishkek will give a huge boost to further deepening of the two countries` relations in the fields of trade, culture and economy.
The Kyrgyz leader recalled his meeting with Azeri counterpart Ilham Aliyev.
“I have been invited to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan, and I think it will take place in the first half of 2008. This will create opportunities to push our relations to a new stage”, Kurmanbek Bakiyev noted.
”Our countries are successfully cooperating within international organizations, and this cooperation will be further continued”, he added.
The Azeri ambassador said he will make every effort to push Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan relations to a much higher level.
Arif Agayev stressed about 20 thousand Azerbaijanis are living in Kyrgyzstan making their contribution to development of the country`s various sectors, including science, education and health.
