“Azerbaijan and Pakistan-20 years of friendship and cooperation” book issued
Baku, February 20 (AZERTAC). A book entitled “Azerbaijan and Pakistan-20 years of friendship and cooperation” has been published in English.
Author of the book is director of the Peace and Democracy Institute of Pakistan and founder and editor-in-chief of the “Diplomatic Insight” magazine Mohammed Asif Noor.
According to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Pakistan, there are photos of national leader Heydar Aliyev and Pakistani former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto on the cover of the 104-page book.
The first chapters of the book are dedicated to the ancient, middle and modern history of Azerbaijan.
The edition gives information on life and activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev and his role in the establishment of independent Azerbaijani state.
It also deals with the internal and foreign policy pursued by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The book also deals with Azerbaijani first lady Mehriban Aliyeva, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and its humanitarian activities in Pakistan, philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev,`s life and activity, Baku`s Maiden Tower, Nizami Ganjavi`s “Seven Beauties” and Azerbaijani mugham.
