Azerbaijan, Argentina discuss agricultural cooperation
Baku, November 24 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abbasov has met visiting Argentina`s Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship Alberto Pedro D`Alotto.
They exchanged views over prospects for expansion of agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
Abbasov highlighted President Ilham Aliyev`s attention to agricultural sector in Azerbaijan.
He briefed the Argentine minister on socio-economic development in Azerbaijan`s regions.
Attending the meeting, Argentine ambassador to Turkey and Azerbaijan Armando Juan Jose Maffei stressed the importance of the MoU, saying it would contribute to boosting the agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
Azerbaijani ambassador to Argentina Mammad Ahmadzade was present at the meeting.
