Azerbaijan, Djibouti reach key agreement on civil aviation

Baku, December 1, AZERTAC

Azerbaijan and Djibouti have reached significant agreement on civil aviation as Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with several Djiboutian airlines. The MoU was signed during the visit of AZAL president Jahangir Asgarov to Djibouti.

As part of his visit Asgarov had a meeting with Djibouti President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh. Asgarov said there is great potential for cooperation between the two countries. President Omar Guelleh said Djibouti attaches great importance to its relations with Azerbaijan.

Asgarov also had meetings with the country`s senior officials to discuss wide-ranging issues, including the launch of cargo flights between Azerbaijan to Djibouti.
