AZERBAIJAN EMBASSY IN UZBEKISTAN ORGANIZES GUAM`S 10TH ANNIVERSARY

Azerbaijan embassy in Uzbekistan organized an official reception on the occasion of 10th anniversary of GUAM - Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - at the “Radisson SAS” Hotel in Tashkent.

The ambassadors, diplomats of Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey, Pakistan, Italy, Romania, Palestine, Poland, Kyrgyzstan and other countries in Uzbekistan, members of Azerbaijani Diaspora and journalists attended the event.

Azerbaijani ambassador in Uzbekistan Namiq Abbasov informed about GUAM and deepening of relations in political, economic and cultural spheres among the member states.

The Azerbaijani diplomat said that during this decade GUAM became an international organization with full rights. The organization is ready to comprehensively cooperate with all European and Asian states and countries within “GUAM+” format. GUAM supports solution of conflicts in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova within the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, the Ambassador stressed.
