Azerbaijan envoy meets President of Swiss Council of States

Baku, February 26 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Switzerland Akram Zeynalli has met President of the Swiss Council of States Filippo Lombardi.

Mr. Zeynalli praised the current state of inter-parliamentary relations, as well as activities of friendship groups in legislative bodies of both countries.

On the activity of 18 friendship groups in Swiss parliament, the ambassador stressed the importance of Azerbaijan-Switzerland inter-parliamentary friendship group.

On further boosting the inter-parliamentary relations, the diplomat also stressed the necessity of reciprocal visits.

They exchanged views on Azerbaijan`s achievements in socio-economic sphere, as well as the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
