AZERBAIJAN, ESTONIA TO SIGN AGREEMENT ON DOUBLE TAXATION AVOIDANCE, ESTONIAN FM
Azerbaijan and Estonia will sign an agreement on avoidance of double taxation, said the visiting Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet during his meeting with Deputy Speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament Bahar Muradova in Baku on Tuesday.
Muradova said long-standing relations between the two nations have entered a new stage.
“Thanks to our presidents` efforts our relationships have developed even more”, she added.
The Deputy Speaker also pointed to developing interparliamentary relations between the two countries, and noted Azerbaijan ad Estonian parliamentarians are successfully cooperating within international organizations.
Muradova stressed her country is keen on integration into Euroatlantic space, including EU and NATO.
She also spoke of Azerbaijan’s dynamic development and its participation in large-scale projects.
The Estonian Minister expressed satisfaction with his visit.
Urmas Paet praised Azerbaijan`s all-round development and its efforts to boost relations with EU and NATO.
Paet said his country wishes to expand ties with Azerbaijan in all spheres, adding several documents will be signed on expansion of economic and trade relations.
The Minister stressed the need to avoid double taxation and simplify visa procedures.
The Estonian Minister also praised Azerbaijan’s moves towards joining the World Trade Organization.
