Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey will issue memorial coins dedicated to the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, the Georgian National Bank told AZERTAC correspondent.

In the meeting of representatives of three countries in mid-August in Istanbul, the related questions will be coordinated, the Bank’s spokesman said. At his words, the metal coins will be mobilized after the terminal put into service. The coins will reflect Georgian lari, Azerbaijani manat and Turkish lyra on one side and specific features of these three countries on another.

Construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is to be completed on 2010.
