Azerbaijan, Morocco discuss prospects for bilateral relations
Baku, May 31 (AZERTAC). Chairperson of the Azerbaijani parliament`s Human Rights committee, member of the Azerbaijan-Brazil inter-parliamentary working group Rabiyyat Aslanova has met a Brazilian delegation led by chair of the parliament’s committee on foreign relations and national defense Nelson Pellegrino to discuss how to develop the relations between the two countries.
Aslanova noted the importance of reciprocal visits, adding they create opportunity for expansion of economic, political and cultural cooperation.
She spoke of state building in Azerbaijan since the country restored its independence.
Aslanova hailed tolerance in Azerbaijan.
“We have a tolerant country with representatives of various religions living friendly together. Official Baku is keen on cooperation with all countries across the world. And the efforts on this front are fruitful,” she said.
Pellegrino praised Azerbaijan`s development.
He vowed to raise Moroccan businessmen`s and politicians` awareness of Azerbaijan`s achievements.
