AZERBAIJAN SCIENTIST AWARDED WITH GOLD MEDAL
Addressing the participants, Vice-President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences / NAS/ Arif Mehdiyev touched on the important moments of scientific activity of academician Arif Pashayev.
Director General of the State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patent Khalida Masimova told on close cooperation of the structure with WIPO, measures undertaken by Azerbaijan scientists, inventors, entrepreneurs, and businessmen on delivering of their technical and creative production to the world technological markets.
She noted that Azerbaijan was a state possessing with rich intellectual potential, and the scientific researches of academician Arif Pashayev gained huge authority all over the world.
Responsible employer of WIPO Boris Khavirov dwelt on cooperation of this Organization with Azerbaijan, highly appreciated the level of intellectual potential in Azerbaijan and read decision of organization on awarding Arif Pashayev.
Academician Arif Pashayev expressed his gratitude for high appraisal of his activity and noted the contributions of Azerbaijan scientists in world science.
In conclusion, a documentary dedicated to 70th anniversary of academician Arif Pashayev was demonstrated.
