AZERBAIJAN TO HAVE BRIGHTER FUTURE
The delegation led by Tchetin Kazak, chairman of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Committee’s Civil Dimension Sub-Committee on Democratic Governance on 19 September met with members of the Milli Majlis International Relations and Inter-Parliamentary Ties Standing Committee.
Chairman of the Committee, head of the Azerbaijan Parliament delegation at PACE Samad Seyidov informed the guests on active participation of the Azerbaijan MPs at international organizations. Cooperation with NATO Parliamentary Assembly is of special importance for us, Mr. Seyidov noted. “We want to apply NATO standards in the country, on the other hand, Azerbaijan plays significant role in Europe’s energy safety, therefore, we are keen in development of relations with NATO in all fields”.
Tchetin Kazak said NATO regards attentively the South Caucasus region. And by attracting the Organization members to this region we try to solve the regional problems here.
Dwelling on accomplishments reached by Azerbaijan in numerous fields, the visitor said Azerbaijan is expected to have brighter future.
The guest expressed readiness to assist Azerbaijan in integration to Europe and solving problems.
The sides also had comprehensive exchange of views on Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijan’s integration to Europe and a number of other issues of mutual concern.
