Azerbaijan, Türkiye enhance legal cooperation

Farid Ahmadov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Justice, met with his Turkish counterpart, Akın Gürlek, in Baku.
Minister Farid Ahmadov emphasized the successful development of fraternal and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in all areas, highlighting the importance of cooperation based on mutual trust and support between the two countries.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state of and prospects for legal cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye. They noted that reciprocal visits, signed agreements, and joint efforts undertaken by the two ministries in recent years have made a significant contribution to further strengthening bilateral relations.
The meeting also focused on the importance of enhancing cooperation in legal assistance, the penitentiary and probation systems, the application of digital solutions, the exchange of experience, and personnel training.
