AZERBAIJANI AMBASSADOR UPDATED GERMAN MEDIA ON PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION IN AZERBAIJAN
On November 9, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Parviz Shahbazov updated German media representatives on Sunday parliamentary election in Azerbaijan. The Ambassador’s statement was disseminated through German leading newspapers and magazines including Der Spiegel, Stern, Fucus magazines, Frankfurter Allkemeine Zeitung, Suddeutsche Zeitung, Frankfurter Rundschau, Tagesallgemeine Zeitung, Die Welt, Handelsblatt, Berliner Zeitung, Handelsblatt, Berliner Zeitung, and Tagesspiegel, and TV channels ARD, ZDF, RTL and VOX. It was also sent to the Office of Federal Chancellor, the President, Federal Foreign Ministry, Bundestag, the Caucasus Group of German Parliament, and to over 150 diplomatic missions accredited in Germany. The statement covers the run-up to the recent parliamentary elections, voting process and the post-elections situation, as well as some irregularities observed during the poll and opinions of the foreign observation missions.
