Azerbaijani cultural centers in Tashkent decry French parliament`s genocide denial bill

Tashkent, December 29 (AZERTAC). The joint meeting of the Azerbaijani Cultural Center in Uzbekistan`s capital and city cultural center activists condemned the French National Assembly`s controversial “Armenian genocide” denial bill.

Chairman of the Center Mobil Mammadov noted the unfair bill of the French parliament is the political mistake, which can worsen existing instable France-Turkey relationship.

The Center`s executive secretary Huseynov noted Armenia refused to open its archives at the initiative of Turkish Premier Recep Erdogan because the truth is that there was no “Armenian genocide”.

The statement concerning adoption of the bill was presented to the French embassy in Uzbekistan.
