AZERBAIJANI DELEGATION TO PARTICIPATE IN 2ND ASTANA ECONOMIC FORUM

Baku, March 6 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani scientists will attend the Second Astana Economic Forum "Economic Security in Eurasia in the System of Global Risks", organized by Kazakhstan`s "Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists" Association, "Economic Research Institute" JSC and the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to be held on March 11-12, 2009 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The aim of the Forum is to consolidate efforts of the world scientific, political and business communities and to develop adequate solutions and recommendations for regional policy on economic security. The work of the Forum will be organized according to the directions of solving the consequences that global economic risks entail in Eurasian countries.

Kazakhstan president Nursultan Nazarbayev, as well as Nobel Prize Winner on economy Edmund Felps and Robert Mundell, president of Islamic Bank of Development Ahmad Muhammad Ali and Jan Kubis, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and others are expected to participate in the event.
