AZERBAIJANI DELEGATION VISITING RIYADH
Azerbaijani Delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov is on the visit in the Saudi capital Riyadh, Azerbaijani Embassy said.
Hasanov met the leadership of Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) on Monday.
He noted the high level of Azerbaijan-Saudi ties and the Fund`s great role in development of cooperation between the two countries.
The Deputy Prime Minister spoke of reasons and current state of the Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
He said all the world`s authoritative organizations are supporting Azerbaijan`s just position on the conflict.
Hasanov spoke about the work done by the Azerbaijani government to improve the conditions of about one million refugees and IDPs.
The leadership of Saudi Fund for Development noted the successful implementation of the Fund`s projects in Azerbaijan, and underlined that the Saudi Kingdom is ready to enlarge cooperation with the country.

Later the same day, Hasanov met with General Secretary of World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) Saleh Al-Wohaby.
Saleh Al-Wohaby expressed his satisfaction to the Azerbaijani government for creating favorable conditions for fruitful and transparent activity of the Fund`s Baku office.
Hasanov invited Saleh Al-Wohaby to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan.
It was also offered to hold an international conference in Baku with participation of leading humanitarian organizations of Arabic states of Persian Gulf to familiarize them with the conditions of refugees and IDPs.
