Azerbaijani embassy in Japan publishes brochure on 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations
Baku, May 25 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani embassy in Tokyo has published a brochure called “20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Japan”.
The brochure provides an insight into history and current state of the bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries.
It highlights visits of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to Japan, high-level official meetings, opening of embassies, as well as agreements signed so far.
The brochure covers facts concerning economic cooperation, projects realized in different fields and joint programs.
It also speaks of activities of Japanese companies in Azerbaijan, and companies of Azerbaijan in Japan, as well as accomplishments reached in the areas of education and culture.
“Azerbaijan-Japan relationship has been successfully developing for 20 years. After establishment of diplomatic ties in 1992, political, economic and humanitarian cooperation started to expand.
The visits of National leader Heydar Aliyev in February 1998 and President Ilham Aliyev in March 2006 gave impetus to further boosting the bilateral relations.”
