AZERBAIJANI FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER MEETS HEAD OF EUROPEAN COMMISSION’S BAKU OFFICE
Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has received copy of the credentials from Mr. Alan Waddams, head of European Commission’s Baku office.
Mr. Waddams underlined that the European Union will continue implementing the large-scale projects with Azerbaijan in economy, transport, communications and other areas.
Mr. Mammadyarov noted that Azerbaijan will enhance cooperation with the EU in the framework of the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP). Touching on bilateral cooperation in the energy area, Minister stressed that Azerbaijan would also make contribution in developing relations between the EU and the Central Asia.
The sides shared views on other issues of mutual interest.
