Azerbaijani History and Culture Research Centre opens in Vietnam
The event brought together officials of Government and Parliament of Vietnam, members of the society, representatives of the Media.
Director of the Azerbaijani History and Culture Research Centre Ngo Thi Kim Tu highlighted the activity and plans of the Centre.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Vietnam Anar Imanov highlighted the visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Vietnam saying the visit created conditions for comprehensive development of cooperation between the two countries.
He also highlighted the increased interest of the people of Vietnam to Azerbaijan, as well as its culture.
The diplomat stressed the importance of opening of the Centre, adding this would play an important role in awareness of Vietnam`s people about Azerbaijan and would serve to further strengthening relations between the two nations.
The speakers stressed the role of the Centre in developing relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam.
The event saw demonstration of video about Azerbaijan.
The event was broadcast in State television of Vietnam “VTV-1”.
