AZERBAIJANI PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION TO ATTEND 29th GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF CIS INTERPARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY

Azerbaijan`s parliamentary delegation will visit Saint Petersburg, Russia, next Monday, for the 29th General Assembly of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly.

The delegation is led by first deputy chairman of the Parliament, head of the standing commission on security and defense affairs Ziyafat Asgarov and includes head of the Milli Majlis commission on regional issues Arif Rahimzade, his deputies Elton Mammadov and Rovshan Rzayev, and MP Fazail Agamali.

The Azeri parliamentarians will attend meetings of the Assembly Council and the Assembly`s committees on defense and security, agrarian policy, and natural resources and ecology.

They will also partake in a session of the Joint Commission on Legislation Harmonization in the Sphere of Combating Terrorism, Crime and Drug Business.
