Azerbaijani student shoots film “Karabakh” in Turkey

Baku, January 2 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani student studying in Cyprus Near East University, Niyazi Salimbayli, has ended shooting of a film “Karabakh” in Turkey.

The Youth Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan sponsored the shooting of the movie, which has been prepared jointly with the Azerbaijani and Turkish students.

The 18 minute-short film, which tells about the Karabakh war is aimed to show the realities of the war once more.

The film is starring Turkish actors, including Sitkiye Devgum, Sems Cetin and Nigar Umudlu. Actors from Ukraine, Iraq, Northern Cyprus, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan also played pivotal roles at the film.

The film will soon be available on YouTube.
