Azerbaijani, Turkish FMs meet
Baku, July 17 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today met his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu.
They discussed prospects for joint economic, energy and transportation projects.
They hailed relations between the two countries.
The FMs also agreed that NATO forces could be withdrawn from Afghanistan through the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project.
Mammadyarov and his Turkish counterpart also discussed the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Davutoglu said Turkey as a member of the OSCE Minsk Group was ready to further contribute to finding a solution to the dispute.
They exchanged views on the course of implementation of TANAP and TAP projects, and emphasized the two countries’ mutual support on an international scale.
