Azerbaijani, Uzbek state medical libraries sign MoU

Tashkent, January 9 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan State Scientific Medical Library of the Health Ministry and Uzbek State Scientific Medical Library have signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center after Heydar Aliyev in Tashkent.

Azerbaijan’s State Scientific Medical Library director Yegana Piraliyeva and her counterpart from Uzbek State Scientific Medical Library Faina Volkunova inked the document.

The Cultural Center director Samir Abbasov and Volkunova stressed the importance of strengthening the relations between the two countries in this field.

Under the agreement the two libraries will carry out exchange of data, books, magazines and e-resources.

The sides will also exchange experience in creating e-libraries and catalogues.
