Azerbaijan`s Minister of Agriculture visits Israel
Baku, February 19 (AZERTAC). An Azerbaijani delegation led by Minister of Agriculture Heydar Asadov has visited Israel.
The visit aims to discuss future directions of cooperation in the agricultural sphere.
The Azerbaijani Minister has held a meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel.
They exchanged views over the structure of agriculture and Israel`s agricultural policy, as well as administration system, government support to the agrarian sector.
The Minister also visited the Center for International Agricultural Development Cooperation (CINADCO). During the meeting, they discussed participation of Azerbaijani agricultural specialists in the training courses organized by the CINADCO.
Asadov also met officials of the Israel-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and representatives of the agrarian industry to discuss investment opportunities in this sector.
During the trip, the Azerbaijani Minister is scheduled to meet Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel Avigdor Lieberman.
