`AZERBAIJAN`S RELATIONS WITH NATO AND ITS STRUCTURES ARE EXPANDING`
“Azerbaijan`s relations with NATO and its structures are expanding” said Ziyafat Asgarov, First vice-speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament, chief of the Milli Majlis Standing Commission for Security and Defense Issues, Head of Azerbaijani delegation in NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
Asgarov said that Azerbaijan actively attends all events of NATO and its structures.
He said that the representatives of NATO PA`s Sub-Committee on Democratic Governance would be in Baku on September 19-21.
The visit will be focused on state-religion relations, tolerance and democratic reforms.
The members of the subcommittee will have meetings at the Milli Majlis, Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense as well as State Committee of for the Work with Religious Organizations.
The NATO delegation will also pay respect to nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev at the Alley of Honors.
