“Azerenergy” OJSC, Azerbaijan Engineering Academy sign cooperation agreement

The Azerbaijan Engineering Academy and “Azerenergy” OJSC signed an agreement on cooperation aimed at expanding scientific and technical cooperation and promoting the application of innovative technologies in the energy sector.
The Agreement was inked by Baba Rzayev, Chairman of the Board of “Azerenergy” OJSC, and Arif Pashayev, academician, President of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy.
The Agreement provides for the development of scientific and technical cooperation in the energy sector, the introduction of modern technologies and innovative solutions into production processes, and the integration of scientific research findings into practical activities.
As part of this cooperation, specialists from both organizations held joint meetings at Thermal Power Plants (TPPs), became familiar with existing challenges on site, and conducted discussions on possible solutions. One of the key areas identified is the development of a system for monitoring the parameters that ensure the ambient air quality index at TPPs, as well as the creation of a monitoring system for the cooling oil of high-voltage transformers and ensuring their connection to a unified centralized monitoring system.
It was noted that this fruitful cooperation will contribute to the more effective utilization of scientific potential and innovation capabilities in Azerbaijan’s energy sector.
