AZERI DELEGATION MEETS LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF
Azerbaijani delegation including head of the department for international and interparliamentary relations at the Parliament Samad Seyidov and Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan Turkey Businessmen Association Ahmet Erentok met with Los Angeles County Sheriff Leroy Baca in California.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the seminar entitled “Turkey and Azerbaijan as ‘modern Muslim allies’ for the United States”.
Baca recalled his June visit to Baku, and described the meetings he had held in the Azerbaijani capital as fruitful.
The Azeri delegation informed the Los Angeles County Sheriff about Azerbaijan`s history as well as current political, economic and social situation in the country.
Azerbaijani Consul General in Los-Angeles Elin Suleymanov was present at the meeting.
