AZERI FM MEETS HEAD OF LITHUANIAN SEIMAS COMMITTEE ON FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Chairman of the Lithuanian Seimas Committee on Foreign Affairs Justinas Karosas.

Both Mammadyarov and Karosas expressed their satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations between their countries.

They stressed the importance of boosting energy cooperation.

Mammadyarov described Lithuania as a bridge for Azerbaijan`s integration into Euroatlantic structures.

Justinas Karosas said Azerbaijan is Lithuania`s closest political and economic ally in the region.

The Azeri FM informed Karosas about the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh and crimes committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis.

Elmar Mammadyarov said resolution of the conflict is number one priority for his country.
