AZERI VETERAN JUDO FIGHTERS TO VIE FOR EUROPEAN MEDALS

Baku, October 3 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s veteran judo team will compete in the European championship kicking off in Croatia on Thursday.

Azerbaijan`s squad will include Zulfugar Huseynov and Mushvig Jafarov (66 kg), Rafig Huseynov, Mubariz Jafarov and Seyfal Asgarov (81 kg), Farhad Rajabli (90 kg), Azer Asgarov (100kg) and Zulfiyya Huseynova (78 kg in the women`s event).

The last European championship saw the Azeri fighters claim three gold medals.
