Bahrain puts forward its candidacy for Asian Parliamentary Assembly chairmanship

“The Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) plays an important role in serving the interests of the countries in the region. The APA contributes to enhancing cooperation and coordination between Asian parliaments, as well as building stronger ties between executive bodies,” said Ali Saleh Abdullah Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council of Bahrain, during the 15th plenary session of the APA in Baku.
The Chairman of the Shura Council emphasized Bahrain’s active participation in the APA's activities and expressed the country’s commitment to strengthening the organization’s authority on the international stage. Ali Saleh Abdullah Al Saleh also announced Bahrain's candidacy for the APA chairmanship, expressing hope for securing the support of member states.
He further stated his intention to intensify efforts for the future development of the APA, building on the successes of the previous chairmanship to further enhance the organization’s authority.
