BAKU HOSTS 33RD IAEA CONFERENCE
State Students Admission Commission (SSAC) of Azerbaijan Republic will hold the 33rd conference of the International Association for Educational Assessment (IAEA) in Baku, from 16 to 21 September. The theme of the conference is “Interdependence of National Assessment Systems and Education Standards”. The event will bring together the 200 delegates from 40 countries.
The main subjects of the event will be “The national assessment systems: experience and achievements”, “Selection for admission to higher or graduate level education”, Assessment in admission to civil service”, “Corruption in education and assessment systems”, “The role of technology in assessment, school-based assessment, alternative modes of assessment”, “Assessment in a multicultural society”, “Evaluating the quality of assessment”, “International assessment”, “The role of assessment in improving teacher quality”, “Assessment of national educational goals”.
Founded in 1975, the IAEA is a not for profit, non-government association of measurement agencies around the world.
The broad purpose of IAEA is to assist educational agencies in the development and appropriate application of educational assessment techniques to improve the quality of education.
