Baku hosts conference on digitalization, AI, and media literacy

A conference on “Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence and Media Literacy” was held in Baku as part of Media Literacy Week, organized by Azerbaijan’s Media Development Agency.
The conference was designed to enhance media literacy, assess information within the context of digital transformation, and discuss the impact of AI technologies on the media environment.
The event also featured the screening of a video on media literacy.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of Azerbaijan's Media Development Agency, underscored the importance of enhancing media literacy against the backdrop of the acceleration of digitalization and the widespread use of AI technologies.
He noted that the priority areas in the modern information environment are the formation of the ability to correctly analyze information among citizens, especially young people, and promote the use of reliable sources.
The conference continued with discussions.
