Baku hosts discussions on “Confronting Islamophobia in the Context of Higher Education”

The Breakout session (C): “Confronting Islamophobia in the Context of Higher Education” has today kicked off on the sidelines of the international scientific conference themed “Embracing Diversity: Tackling Islamophobia in 2024” held in Baku.
The session is moderated by Agil Shirinov, Rector of Azerbaijan Institute of Theology.
The conference, dedicated to the International Day to Combat Islamophobia, is co-organized by the Baku International Multiculturalism Centre, Azerbaijan’s Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR), the G20 Interfaith Dialogue Forum, and the Baku Initiative Group.
The conference brings together representatives from 30 countries, including scholars, experts from international organizations, religious figures, as well as members of non-governmental organizations.
