BAKU HOSTS FIRST MEETING OF WCO REGIONAL TRAINING CENTERS

Baku, 4 December (AZERTAC). The first meeting of the World Customs Organization`s regional training centers has been held here at the Baku Regional Training Center.

The event was attended by representatives of customs authorities from Azerbaijan, Hungary, Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Russia.

The event started with opening remarks of deputy chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan Rza Hasanaliyev who said the event provides forum for discussions on cooperation among regional training centers.

The meeting was also addressed by WCO official Benedict Meyll and State Customs Committee`s representative Shahin Bagirov.

Participants heard reports on regional coordination methods of training and regional technical training support plan.
